Information we collect
- Contact inquiries: name, company, email address, phone number, and the details of your freight inquiry.
- Driver applications:name, date of birth, Social Security Number, home address history, contact details, driver's license information, employment history, accident and traffic violation history, references, and any documents you upload (such as your CDL and DOT medical certificate). This information is required of motor carriers by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (49 CFR Part 391).
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and site operation. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To respond to freight inquiries and provide quotes.
- To evaluate driver applications and contact applicants about employment.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To comply with legal obligations, including FMCSA driver-qualification requirements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Sensitive information & security
Your Social Security Number is collected solely to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record, Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) report, and FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse query — checks that federal law requires us to perform before you may drive. It is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, is never displayed publicly on this website, and is accessible only to authorized recruiting and safety personnel.
Documents you upload are stored securely and used only for driver-qualification file purposes as required by 49 CFR §391.51.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate this website and our business (such as hosting and email providers), with background-check and driver-qualification vendors where required for employment applications (with your authorization), and where required by law.
Retention
We keep contact inquiries as long as needed to serve the business relationship. Driver application records are retained in accordance with applicable employment and FMCSA record-keeping requirements, then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at contact@gracefullytransportation.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children
This website is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
